A field guide to Johns and Wolfe

Dec 03, 2006 20:38

Yeah, William Johns looks a lot like Shane Wolfe. Still, the discerning eye can tell them apart.

Things to note--

Age.
You can see it around the eyes. Shane Wolfe is a good three years older than Johns.

Body language.
Shane walks upright, shoulders back, military bearing all the time. He's self-confident, but not cocky.
Johns walks loosely, tends to lounge on things and act more flexible than Shane. He's confident AND cocky with a little predator mixed in.

Voice.
Shane's voice is a deep tenor or a high baritone. It's friendly and clean.
Johns' voice is scratchy, gravelly, deeper than Wolfe's.

Manner.
Shane can be read like a book. You can see his emotions coming from a mile away, and he telegraphs them on his face.
Johns tends to hide his emotions. He moves suddenly, prone to mood-swings and sudden flashes of energy.

Physical.
If they've got their shirts off, it's easy to tell them apart.
Johns has scars, including stubborn chafe marks and the ankle and wrist. The deeper ones on his body look like knife, teeth, or whip.
Shane's body is comparitively pristine. One or two battle wounds are there-- a small white scar from a bullet in the arm, one knife-stroke on his ankle.

Eyes (aka, the obvious way to tell them apart)
Shane Wolfe: Brown.
William Johns: Silver and pupilless.
