I really like how Merlin is still Gwen's friend even if Arthur is Merlin's lover. I loved the dynamic of it and how Merlin would find refuge in Gwen's chambers. Well done

Thank you! I really like Merlin and Gwen's friendship and want to imagine a future where the Merlin/Arthur/Gwen complications don't ruin it. Because I'm sappy that way.

"You're my wife."

"Yes," she says simply. "I am."

This. This is wonderful and true. ♥

Thank you! I love Gwen's dignity and I can't wait for her to stop having to hedge and apologize every time she voices an opinion.

There were whole episodes where she was the only person I didn't want to smack. How could I not love her?

Oh, I love this. The images, Gwen's strength and growth into her role, the way her chambers are at once the unmoving center of the kingdom and a kind of cage grown around her -- as, in a way, any important and grown-up role is.

And since I foolishly exhausted all of my coherence for the day on a lot of handwaving about the analysis of oppression before looking at my flist and finding this (honestly, what can I have been thinking?), I fear I shall have to leave it at that, at least for now.
