I don't think it's worship so much as it may be a national symbol. If anything, the people here held a faith called "Christianity" from all I've managed to gather on it.

Mengde! Yeah that's Cao Cao, he's the grumpy pants lord of Wei. We live in the same place though so I guess I shouldn't call him that. He might use that sword I recently found on me if I do...

It's fine. Not many here seem to understand my language, but that works because I rarely understand what anyone says here anyway! [He's laughing to himself, but yeah, no can hear Ace.]

I don't really know what this thing is for, but there's a lot of cat images on everything so I was wondering if maybe the people here before us worshiped cats. Though everyone seems to think I'm wrong.
