One of the reasons why Sherlock is endearing (at least as a character, probably not if I knew him in real life) is because he does have naivete about some things, usually himself and his feelings, even if he doesn't know it. Bless'm!
Haha, thank you! I used to have Douglas's whole mountain conversation on my phone as my message tone, but it got a bit long and I kept waiting until the end, which started to get annoying. I still love it though, heard it about a million times and it still makes me laugh.
I love the fact that Douglas immediately calls for Carolyn (the grown-ups will sort this out), and your descriptions of Mycroft and Sherlock's thoughts.
Haha, you know, I hadn't thought of him calling for Carolyn like that, but it's so true! I'm glad you like the Holmes boys' thoughts; I have a lot of fun with them. I get to use turns of phrase which make people look at me askance when I use them in real life. :-)
