My hair has changed to mostly grey and some white. It was making me a little 'crazy', as it was long and straight and I didn't like putting it in a ponytail every day,as that seemed to be making it fall out faster!!  I called the girl who usually does my perms in her basement set-up', however,she said that because she has grandchildren living with

oh yes, as a kid I wore my hair in a ponytail for YEARS until I was invited to a prom and my friend told me about a shop in Boston where they TRAINED hairdressers, and you could 'volunteer' to get a perm under the supervision of licensed hair dressers! After that, I had my hair done there fairly regularly.
