Wow whats up with all these crazy females getting ready for prom? i mean we got like three or four months till prom and it seems like every girl i know is getting ready already. I must ask the general public here "whats the big deal?" I mean seriously you pay like 2 hundred dollars so you can take out some girl that half the time you are only

Interesting fact that Pastor B shared with me last year: In the money it takes to get everything for Prom, tux, dinner, tickets, possible vehicles, gas, camera/film, etc. You could fly to Vegas and stay there all day then fly back in time for supper.

Let me explain something to you. Prom is like the mecca of all dances.

You may think that it is incredibly silly for any girl to be getting ready this soon, but it's always better to do things ahead of time instead of waiting until the last minute.

For example, I have my hair appointment scheduled for Saturday at 2.

And...what girl wants to be forced to get the last dress on the rack (Normally, this is the ugliest one that no one else wants) because she waited until the last minute.

And....if you don't make the reservations for Prom early, then you might end up going to McDonald's....

or you could be the awsomest girl ever who A. rather go for a picnic than spend money on food...and B. can get a kick butt dress that is beautiful on sale at good will, and also is fortunate enough and smart enough to get good friends to do her hair...last years prom cost me a grand total of 55 bucks...you know what most of that was in? getting gas and flowers...now that girl rocks.

i dont care what any girl says...when you make prom more than what it is (witch is spending time with someone you really care about)...unless your just using him...anyway the point is that prom is supposed to be fun and driving me to the poor house is not fun. I have a girl who understands that and when you find one like that jon boy never let her go!

Thing of it is, it's just a dance.

You spend exorbant amounts of money on one night. You go, you dance for a little while, and then you go home.

Or, to a hotel.

Anyway.

Making reservations months in advance is ludicrus (spelling?) and ridiculous.

My total last year was pushed mainly 'cause I needed a tux. Although it turned out that I didn't need that nice of a tux. But it was fun, to me at least, to get dressed up.

The money is outrageous, I agree. But it's mainly for the moment.

But to me the whole point of Prom is to eat, dance, complain about how they never played a song you liked, or just complain about the DJ, complain about the Prom court, and/or the King and Queen, then after parties, maybe a hotel, I duno.
