to tweet or not to tweet...

I am considering trying out twitter (which means I will probably give it a go, because, you know, why not, and if it turns out it is all too much I can just stop I guess :) ).

Do you tweet? What do you love about it?

girlie jones is on a mission to get me tweeting too. I saw her demo tweet for me and it looked like fun...potentially too much fun and distraction. My question is, will I be able to walk away?

I suspect I will be pretty bad at actually following anything, and not sure I have much of interest to tweet about, but you are right, it looks like fun :)

I think I will be able to walk away--but more likely it will be something that fades off as I lose interest.

I've now had two successful business things happen on twitter which totally came out of idle tweets and chatter. It's different to any other medium and you have to do it to see what it's like.

And be cool with the whole transcendental aspects of it.

I started tweeting just so I could follow my friends who are on it - I was finding that a lot of people were tweeting things that they then failed to blog about, and I cannot abide being out of the loop. I do use mine a little bit, but not extensively.
