I agree with absolutely everything you said. Everything. So we can console each other when all of the bad stuff happens.

Hold me!

I'm not going to get my hopes up, but damn. That didn't feel platonic to me *at all*.

Well, we can hope. There's always hope.

Yeah, I don't believe it, either.

You know, I saw the blurb on your post and thought you were going to bitch about Lana being whiny about the security cameras. Because, GOD FORBID the guy who's being kidnapped/assaulted 24 times a year has *some* security measures around the house to protect himself AND his girlfriend. The horror!

Kudos to Lex for handling it like an adult. "This is how I live, period."

You know, I cheered mighily at that. Her whole whining about the camera struck me as funny/annoying on a couple levels: the one you mentioned (it's Lex! He needs a security camera grafted onto his head, yo!), as well as her indignation and assumption that Lex installed it *once she showed up*. Like, it didn't occur to her at all that the cameras were there *before her*. Obviously, her shiny ass is the only reason why Lex would possibly want to have a camera in that room.

I loved his "My way or the highway" stance. Of course, the only person to stand up to Lana is "ebil". WHatever, SV. WTF *ever*.

Is it too much to hope that the barn door becomes mutated by Kryptonite and goes on a killing spree? I want an ep devoted to that barn door trying to kill Lana *and* Lois...just randomly dropping out of the sky onto their heads all hour.

-Sigh. I'm setting myself up for disappointment, aren't I? Somebody stop me.-

Sorry kid, no can do. I am thoroughly convinced we're seeing the start of Clark falling for his best friend. Like you said, they were all up in each other's spaces, and Clark was all Protective and Manly with her. Le Squee!

You know, I actually thought Lana had something of a point with Clark, but I can't stand it when Lana acts all sullen. And she was totally the Sullen Girl when she was sitting at the piano and plinking those sad little notes. She hadn't even opened her mouth, and already I wanted to just choke the shit out of her. KK's flat reading when Clark told her Lex had been kidnapped actually make me laugh, and at other times it seemed like she wasn't sure if she was playing Lana or Isabelle.

Yeah, I was griping about Lana'a snotty behavior toward Clark ever since I saw the ep. Not one word of thinking Clark might be right or trying to help Lex. WHy, after last wek wouldn't she consider the possibility? Clark doesn't owe you anything now Lana. Why don't you blow? KK has improves a little as an actress but neither she nor ED can hold a candle to AM. Time they realized that. I'm continuing to make the point that Chloe shines and Nois sucks at the CW. Perhaps someone should try writing to TV Guide... Put a tracking device on Lana and Lois both and send the door on its mission.

TV Guide came and I see the blurb about "Hot Lois" and I just about exploded. I'm sick of hearing that crap. She is stupid, lazy and dull as dust. She's an insult to the legend.

However, I can't interpret the Clark/Chloe interaction or the picnic date as anything but protective Clark wanting to get closer and trying to work up the courage to say what he needs/wants to.
