I'm baking cookies for easter while listening to Nick Cave. It's striking a really interesting balance between delicious cookies and deep emotions. I'm not going to lie, I like it a lot. The only downside is it reminded me of the dance scene in Deathly Hallows part 1 and now all I want to do is call my entire family and tell them I won't be making ( Read more... )

Yeah I know what you mean. I used to think he was scary as hell. But I love him now. Nice to know my tastes were open to change.

I like HP for nostalgia's sake and I liked the music at that dance scene..hold on, was that Nick Cave?!

It was nick cave! The song was O'Children.

And as far as the sugar. I thought there couldn't be too much but then I ate my cookies and they really just tasted like a mouth full of sugar. It wasn't as wonderful as it could have been.

I loved that dance scene in HP.. it was so very sweet.. I used to ship Harmony (Im not one of those hardcore fans but I do like a couple of ships) mainly Dramione, Lumione and Harmony.

I go through these periods where I have to watch LOTR, HP or any other series that I love.. usually once a year for LOTR or when the need arises.. and I always try to watch them in a weekend.. but ends up being three to four days.

Ps. what type of bickies?

I'm the same with ships. I'm not crazy hardcore into it but it's fun to ship a couple. I ship Sirius/Remus and Ron/Hermione and...Hmm now that I think of it I don't ship much else in HP.

The cookies are Cinnamon Hot Cross Bun cookies. So slightly chocolate flavoured then rolled in cinnamon sugar and then a drawn cross on in white chocolate. Super sweet.

Oh dear god they sound divine, take a photo when you've finished prettying them up?

I was at work today and I was wandering down to afternoon tea, and of course the most heavenly aroma of hot x buns was permeating through the building.

So good.

Nick Cave is great but very heavy. It's not dancing music or anything. Don't listen to it if you're in a miserable mood.

I loved the dance scene. I thought it was really cute and a nice addition to such a serious movie.

Skipping out on dinner with my family just to watch HP sounds like something I would do, so no, I don't think it's rude :P

Sadly I didn't watch HP. I went to dinner and ate salad. BAH what a waste of a night. I'm going to have a HP marathon with my housemate and try and blitz through all the movies in a weekend. I've done this a few times before and it always makes me super emotional.
