I am totally unconvinced that this thing is adequate.

I prefer to use the browser for posting via my iPhone.

Maybe you should develop something better.

That's my thought. An LJ UI should be more like a, well, journal, you know?

And I doubt you intended to post your exact location as showed up for your post...

Actually, I did note that and decided to let it through. I wish it had resolved better (ie, to what the location was), I was in the Saxon Pub which is actually a block or two north of the coordinates the iPhone had.

This is not necessarily a problem with the phone, the design often only allows imprecise results - the application neglected to include the "error bars," which other applications represent as a circle around the location.

I've used LiveJournal.app to post to my journal once or twice. It's okay. I do like that it sucks up one's tags so one can choose from the list if one wants. And the location options are nice.

What don't you like about it?

Oh, the one thing that I don't like about it is it seems to have a tendency to double-post. (As evidenced by your journal, actually. But I've seen it do it for me, too.)

Agreed, it's inadequate. My LJ activity consists almost entirely of reading "friends" posts, and this app doesn't support that. Deleted.
