Help me out here

Vampires can't go out into the sun because they're sparkly?

Can anyone explain that one to me? Minus the unicorns, gumdrops, and rainbows please.

OK, OK, thank you, that's a start, but is really just why they're sparkly.

Do these cells focus the sunlight into a laser that fries them, or do they get a severe case of mutant hybrid vitiligo-cancer or something?

Thank you, speaker-to-twilight-teen!

Huh, okay. Do they ever see what actually happens to their flavor of vampire when they are forced into the sunlight?

Hi, I'm shelleypro and I have read books #1 and #2. It's like a trainwreck. I want to stop reading, but I'm too far down the rabbit hole to let it go. I agree it's nonsense and parents should read it before their kids - lots of messed up ideas in there.

The simpleton spacing and wording allow one to zoom through the pages in record time. It's an easy read, not much detail or character development, a fair amount of action and far more emo than a vampire story is allowed to be.

I think I keep reading for the erotic sexual tension (as expressed by the linked review). Nuff said.
