for everyone who doesn't know, yes i evacuated. my sister and i were planning on staying until sunday morning when panic errupted. in twenty minutes we threw everything we could into my car and high-tailed it to memphis. stayed there until tuesday morning, am now around leesville, LA. the times-picayune evacuated its building yesterday afternoon

sometimes it feels like a movie. we've been really lucky to find hotels/distant friends of family to stay with. right now i'm in deep deep south....
