I've heard lots of different views on this whole Terri thing. She may be alive but she isn't living. She is as much "alive" and a plant is.Then everyone is bitching because she's going to die from starvation, shut the hell up. The part of her brain that feels pain and hunger and every other emotion/stimulation doesn't work and hasn't worked for ( Read more... )

I take offense to you stereotyping all "christians".
i can garuntee you that there are "non-christians" that are wanting the same thing.

Thats all <3
I dont really have a thought about this whole thing.
I just hope that poor lady finds some kind of release, whether she die or by some kind of miracle, recovers...

I wasn't meaning it it a negitive way. Reading back on it now I can see how it could easily have been taken that way.

There is nothing wrong with fighting for someones life.
None of us know whether or not she wants to live or die.
It's a hard thing, really... she is still alive, even if she's a vegetable. It's fucked up to let someone starve, she's not hooked up to a bunch of machines keeping her from dying, she just needs to be fed.
I see what you're saying though, but life is too valuable to me.
My God will do what He thinks is best for her. His plan might be to take her, it might not. We'll see. Remember though, I could label all Atheists and the like as ruthless murderers of a helpless woman... but it just doesn't come out that way.

I don't even know the story at all, I just keep seeing the same clip of some lady writhing around in a hospital bed played on every news station.

Still, I say pull the plug!

If God wanted her dead, he would've saw to it that she was dead when she suffered a heart attack.

We're never going to agree on this. I also think its fucked up to let someone starve to death. I would have a totally different side if they just euthanized her.

i agree with u 100%! b/c if there is something other than her body keeping her alive, then why should she suffer just b/c her parents are not ready to give her up????and yeh i understand if God wanted her dead he would have made sure that she dies when she had the heart attack, but on the other hand God could very well be using this as a test for her parents, to see if they would be willing to do what was in thier daughter's best intrest.........and keeping her alive b/c they are not ready to let go, is not a good enough reason for me.....just my opinion
