story time

Well, school is in again, and my first day was today.  I had to get up at seven, which is hard for me because I typically go to sleep around 3 and get up around 12.  I didn't get much sleep last night, but I suppose my schedule will adjust to getting up early Tuesdays and Thursdays, eventually anyways.  My class was childrens literature and it ( Read more... )

"Are You My Mother?", "Where the Wild Things Are", "Bridge to Terabithia", "Where the Red Fern Grows", and "A Wrinkle in Time"

I used to read "are you my mother" to the kids at the daycare a lot, I know I liked "Where the Wild Things are" as a kid, but it didn't stand out particularly, and "Bridge to Teribithia" is on our reading list, though I havent read it before. I think I might have read "Where the Red Fern Grows" what is it about again??

OMG, for starters, I had a brown phone like the one in your user pic. Actually, it was a rotary phone....whoa, old!

What books do you guys remember reading as kids?

Charlotte's Web, Ramona Quimby Age 8, Ribsy, Henry & Beezus, Super Fudge, How to Eat Fried Worms,...oh, and Sweet Valley High books

haha thats funny that you had that phone, it has a cool shape.

I read most of those, I really like dthe whole Ramona series. I never read the Sweet Valley high ones, but I read babysitters club and babysitters little sister
