I just got back from a trip to Montreal and I fell in love! Why didn't you Canadians tell me how awesome your country was?!?! Everyone was so friendly, the place was so clean, and everything was gorgeous (except for the freezing weather and ice, but hey, you get used to that)! The beer is way better too. I agree regarding Miss/Guided and Jezebal. I tried about three minutes of Jezebal and couldn't stand it. Some of the absolute worst crap I've ever seen.

Yeah, I only watched the first episode. I'm going to watch the second to see if it gets better, but I'm not optimistic. I'm really surprised this is what Amy chose to do...

I didn't *get* it. It was totally unwatchable to me. Truely horrible. Like worse that what I previously thought was the worst tv I'd ever seen.

Sorry, it's supposed to be kind of a secret. We don't want to get overrun. Montreal is a very nice city. Even though it gets really cold and a lot of snow, it isn't too bad since quite a bit can be accessed underground. It also has a number of nice festivals in the summer. You can get by without French, but it does help. Montreal is one of the places I've thought of moving to once I'm done.

Yeah, the underground was really neat!

It would be hard to find a job without French though since it seemed that most people spoke French as a first language. Though everyone does say the best way to learn a language is to live with it...

Oooh, I love Montreal. I haven't been in ages, but I used to have family up there, so I'd go all the time. They live in Toronto now.
