Rain in Dresden trip - Mission one
Yes. I know its more then one week since I started my trip (exactly one week from the performance and meeting Rain! *PANIC*... Oh Damn... That was spoiler, right? :P) but I somehow couldn't write anything earlier. Whenever I remembered anything of that amazing three-nights-trip I got all touched, teary and couldn't continue. Someone could think I am not too sensitive when they see me, but yeah, be sure.... I am. And all these 4 days in Dresden were full of happiness and joys and everything... And right now, I finally got to write a little report about it. So. Let's start.
MISSION ONE - Got to Dresden, find the hostel, pick up girls on the station
I got totally nervous and freaked out. I need to go abroad by myself to the city I don't know and find a hostel to pick up a keys as I promissed. I was in kind of panic mode. Whenever I need to go somewhere alone, I panic a lot. First, it didn't help when I almost couldn't catch my bus. Then, on our way to Dresden, foreign police stopped us and checked our ID cards and such. Oh yeah. Once again I felt like to scream: "What is so bad on being yellow" even though I am white. Sure. Even the policeman thought I was an asian. There were only 2 people in the bus that had longer check. Some black guy and me. Because they thought I am an asian. Can policemans be racists? >.<...
Well, after all, we continued... For about 20 mins. Then they stopped us again and called that black guy for some reason. I was scared that they will call me too, 'cause I suddenly remembered, that my ID card is reported as stolen (since they stole it a week ago, it was just my luck that they found it later, but it was already reported). Well, thanks god, they didn't want to check my ID closer. Only had something to deal with the poor black guy and then they let us go.
Finally got to Dresden. I remembered that there was some river near to our hostel, when I was looking at map at home, so I asked bus steward-lady if she knows which way is the river. She said yes and showed me which way should I go. So I went. But I felt like it's not the right way. I only saw map some hours before, but from what I remembered, it was not the way I should go. So after about 20 mins of walk I turned back, got back to the station and then finally found out the street name for which I've should been seeking from the start. Finally got the right way. I only knew the street names, nothing more. But somehow it went smoothly and I got to the hostel with any other wrong step. I got there around 11 AM, but I could check in at 12, so I had one hour of waiting in a waiting room. Since I realized that I'm kinda tired (had no sleep at night 'cause of nervosity and also to be sure to not oversleep), so I fell asleep for about 30 or 40 mins while sitting and waiting in a waiting room.
Then I got to our apartment. It really AWED me. So big, clean, light and comfortable place! I reported to Xuxu that I got the keys and am in a hostel, charged my phone, played some games and then I went out. Bought some food, got back, ate something and went out again to have some sightseeing and wait for girls to come.
Sightseeing was amazing, I really enjoyed it. I was such a tourist, taking pics of everything... Here they are:
Around 9 pm I got back to the railway station to wait for girls, that should come around 10 PM. Xuxu messaged me they will come to the gate 3 so I found the gate and was waiting a bit more. Girls came. I was bit nervous first, since I didn't know anyone personally, but after few seconds I already felt nice with all of girls, 'cause it was really amazing group for a trip like this :) Finally I got to see Elina, whom I knew for so long through internet and also Xuxu, whom I knew just from e-mails, but it was great to meet other girls too. As I said - amazing group of new friends ^^
We went to the hostel by walk, as I suggested. Later I felt bit guilty 'cause of that, because I didn't know that their luggage is so heavy, but at the end we succesfully got in. I was sharing room with Elina, other girls were in the second room. We talked a bit with Elina and then went to the bed, since the next day shoud be our day D. "Rainy Day"....
