PS Go check out the park on the waterfront at Kent St and like 9th (Williamsburg)... it was definitely the best thing I found on my exploratory bike ride today, might make you feel better 'bout the new digs.
brooklyn budget wanted nothing to do to my truck and although i tried to explain how i would do anything NOT to drive through manhatten again it didn't matter. i fought with random budget customer "service" people for over an hour before giving up(basically i wanted this man to take my truck and its a long story as to why he would not but it was dumb, dumb dumb.) So once again a journey through manhatten which was not nearly as bad as the first time, other than the interaction with the tunnel it was fine. although we were almost scolded for returning the truck early. to which i replied "i don't want the beast please take it!" anyway. i will check out the park soon. we are venturing out tonight in search of queers and beers. we will report back on our findings.
tomorrow night is some sort of queer thing up the street from you guys at the Metropolitan... it has a patio if I remember correctly - let me know if you guys are interested.
CR could not be happier(maybe slightly jeal) to hear of cp's new kicks. something tells me at the next big family gathering there should be a mandatory gold lame dance party. we can all just borrow their clothes. until then, Alex
we went last night for $2 pbr and queers. it was fun, especially not to know anyone! nyc and i had a rough start but things are smoothening out. tonight we had dinner with kate and kinder and SUEEE and ame. it felt right.
it would feel righter if y'all were here. COME VISIT. we have a large couch, a very tiny futon and a porch for bbq. also a short walk from metropolitan and other queer things.
