*shudders* How dare you put that thought into my mind. The plot is not that cliche'd, I think J.R. Ward is still figuring out her formula. But, it's still better then the classic Carpathian romance fluff (general crap, "you are my life mate, I must be in love with you" *yawn*), and less formulated then the Dark Hunter "It was all he/she could do" (read one if your don't believe me, she puts it in like twice every sex scene) Still more happy ending then Beyond the Pale *shudders* Has, a switch character POV, well done, well, better then Lynn Viehl in Private Demon (which is better still then the freaks that write crimson). Ohhh..... What could this be, several character setups so we now who the book will be about? And, I think, most of the times the girl in the story acts like an actual person. Which is a plus. The only sappy things usually are the endings. It's only because you become attached to characters. And stay away from the Crimson Series. Just put it down and back away slowly. They are not a gift of good literature. Pick up

...I've always wanted to read a book with vampire sex! Seriously, I've always been intrigued by the idea, but never imagined there are actually books about it!! So you'd recommend Lover Eternal? I just checked it out on Amazon.com and it looks promising. Any other great ones to start me off with? The darker and sexier, the better!

Oh yes, the book before it in the series is very good. *sigh* That one is called Dark Lover. Emma Holly writes a wicked historical romance, Hunting Midnight (dark more than the others) which is the second book in her Umpyr (vampire goodness + werewolf mix = hot naked people-modesty) series, It's called Hunting Midnight. It is the best one. (you don't have to read the first one to understand it) A rather wicked sex scene starting on page 264. The corner of said start has the corner permanently creased. And it is one that every person should own. Indeed. *nods* Now, we are moving onto, the Dark Hunter novels, which are all very much like the same, although, http://www.kinleymacgregor.com/sherrilyn/ just go there. My
