Tonight I'm crying because R.E.M. are no more. It's been over a month since they announced their ending but it is the last week or so that has really hit me hard. I have loved them since I saw them in February 1989 (dragged along against my will), when I was converted by JMS's shimmying performance of Pop Song '89. They have meant so much to me
