Why are people so upset about Lance Bass coming out? He's only a celebrity, and not a very good one either. He always creeped me out dreadfully in my boy-band days.

I do vaugely remember them -- they guest-starred on a Simpsons episode, yes? Though as I recall (and this was a _long_ time ago) Backstreet Boys were more popular at my school. Of course, I couldn't tell you why.
