AP Bio

I'm having trouble finding the answer to #8 on the summer homework.

8. Indicate why oxygen and carbon dioxide are basic to life, and name the principle source of each of these molecules.

Any of you (taking AP Bio next year or just bio buffs) care to help me out?

ramble a little about breathing and maybe make something up about trees. it doesn't have to be right, it just has to have trees in it.

i remember that question. the answer isn't in the book, so you just kind of have to make up your own thing. all you have to say though, is that they're necessary for respiration, and the main source for oxygen is plants and the main source for carbon dioxide is animals.
