Posting bad rhyming poetry on the internet, throwing on some black clothes, putting silly makeup on, and listening to Marilyn Manson and Korn does not make you goth. Marilyn Manson is shock rock and Korn is shitty nu-metal.
If you'd like to hear some real goth bands, you should try Bauhaus, London After Midnight, Sisters of Mercy, Christian Death, The Cure, Rozz Williams, Alien Sex Fiend, The Cruxshadows, Peter Murphy, Switchblade Symphony, Sex Gang Children, All About Eve, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Damned, Joy Division, etc.
Hot Topic is not goth. Nor is it punk, nor anything else. It is owned by The Gap and hence full of shoddy, overpriced clothing. Real goths make their own. The whole goth movement is about being fascinated by art, especially art of a dark nature.
And last time I checked, Juggalo/Juggalette is associated with ICP, who are in no way goth. Also, the whole "Peace Out (War In)" signature plastered through this journal? Most goths are smart enough to know that war is a bad, bad thing

lemme just inform YOU on something... first off, I'm in no way, shape, or form a juggalette/gothalette, second: the reason I say peace out(war in) is because that is my fiance's saying, and he is in the army at the moment, so I feel the need to support him, kays? and also, I make my own clothes and rarely shop at Hot Topic, you haven't even read any of my good poetry, like the only poem I put up on this journal I wrote about 4 or 5 years ago before I became goth, and I don't see why it would be anyone's business telling someone if they are goth or not... every goth is different... not all goths are into the same shit... for example... I am a peaceful goth and my fiance is into war and destruction... I am also a very good artist, and I would put some of my work up on my website or someplace like that, but choose not to cuz stupid assholes such as yourself would classify it non-goth because your kind is the type to put others down to cover insecurities about yourself that you don't want seen... so just a word of advice... fuck off and

Okay, I'm 17 and I'm engaged to a 24 year old man....I will get married when I'm 19. My mother was 18 when she got married, the age at which you marry isn't important as long as you know you love the person. Hell, I'm moving to Turkey to be with him also!
