It's not Halloween without free... music?

Quickie music post for Halloween...

A music fan (who I've dubbed Best Anonymous Person Ever) collected & torrented lots of Halloween-related songs. Now I'm sharing them with you.

I had intended to post a lot of music for Halloween, but I'm tired & I still have to watch Prison Break before work. Plus, some songs are also on my still-being-compiled gothy/mod-ish/high school clubbing playlist... which I've vowed to post by Thanksgiving :)

Concrete Blonde, "Bloodletting (The Vampire Song)" -- I love this song. It's just shy of being sinister and OMG that bass line. This always reminds me of Interview with the Vampire. Did they use this for the film?

Bernard Hermann, Theme from "Psycho"
Bernard Hermann, "Psycho Suite" -- Essentially, it's the same song though the second track sounds a little slower. This is one of my favorite film scores. It's frantic and creepy and Halloween-ish and kind of makes me happy. Yeah, I'm puzzled by that, too.

Ministry, "Everyday is Halloween" -- It's not Halloween without this song. Well, I had to post at least one obvious song. It was this or Bauhaus, and "Bela Lugosi's Dead" is really long.

Danny Elfman and the Citizens of Halloweentown, "This is Halloween" -- Seriously, if Nightmare Before Christmas had been around when I was a kid, I probably would've been Goth. Hell, my mom's surprised I never went Goth. My favorite things to watch as a kid were Sweeney Todd and the "Night on Bald Mountain" sequence in Fantasia.

Okay, time to see if my current purse contents fit into my black cat head purse.

free stuff!, music
