"Sometimes at home, I answer the phone, 'Dunder Mifflin, this is Pam.'"

It's really hard to get back into LJ'ing when you've been gone for a few weeks. Like I told bliss_ last week, it felt like I'd lost my mojo. Things just seemed a little off. And life has been a mix of meh, sigh and yay!!! But I'm pushing myself to get back to my regular internet/LJ'ing, so there may be spam headed your way ( Read more... )

laguna beach, dhousewives, the office, my eyes!, work = meh, smallville

Finally. Glad to see you alive and kicking online. BTW .. dude .. you have to start watching 'Torchwood'. I can try and get you the first episode. You've got all the slash you could possibly need in that ... and more, and not merely as subtext.

Dude, I need a vacation or something, and going home for the holidays doesn't count ;)

What's Torchwood? It's got to be slashy with a title like that. I'm so far behind on watching shows I like. I think I'm in a 'tired of TV' phase, which sucks because there's so many hours of Pretty to catch up on.

BTW, I'm watching The Office's Diwali ep. Did you see it? Michael said it sounds like Hindu Halloween.

What have I missed? Tell dathon I've been meaning to talk SV/Supes with her but I wanted to catch up on SV first.

Dude .... it is all slashy, all the time and I don't mean subtext. Just look for Torchwood on youtube and you'll realise. I have the first tree episodes, and I'll try and upload them to you sometime this week.

I missed The Office. Told you, still haven't started watching.

I'll pass your message to dath.

What channel is it on? I'd really never heard of it until you told me. BTW, I'll u/l the Diwali ep for you. You don't need to know much of the backstory, other than the actress/writer who plays Kelly (Mindy Kaling) is Indian.

Are you caught up on PB, SPN or SV? Come on, join us [going out on a limb & assuming dathon hates the Lexana spawn, too] in our Lana hate!

When's Holiska coming back? I'm still so irked by her Emmy that I haven't watched past the ep with Leslie Caron.

*dances* I have been waiting your comments about Lana's pregnancy, and let me just say, they were well worth the wait. :))

Please do not even get me started on those super cheap box sets at Target, I love that they make them so affordable, but hate that if you added all 6 of those seasons together, that is about what I paid for one.

I got new The Office season 2 DVDs, since my other set kept skipping. Best Buy was kind enough to exchange them for me.

What has two thumbs and will use them to gouge out livejournal's eyes? This girl!

Dude, I wrote this long-ass comment & guess what happened :( It went something like this:

What has two thumbs and absolutely hates pregnant Lana Lang? This girl!

Okay, be honest -- am I being a crazed fangirl who's all "hands off my Lex, you emasculating Mary Sue!", or is the sane part of fandom vomiting with me? What's your take on it? All I'm sure of is that much like Bree VDK (I will not call her Hodge), Lana'a out-of-wedlock spawn will not receive a gift from me ;)

BTW, if we both had fax machines, I'd totally send you memos from your future self. Or Wenty. They're on hiatus now, right? [Note to self: hang out in Westwood near Wilshire.}

Heh, I saw your post about the DVDs, but I was too tired to tease you... says the girl who thoroughly inspects every DVD set/case before buying it.

I'll search for a flight this week, before the holidays take over my life. Any updates?

Oh man, I just laughed out loud. *sighs* I love Jim Halpert. And you, for quoting him so often. :)

I am just chuckling over the whole Lana thing, it just figures, considering everything else this season was going so well.

I had a dream about Wenty, we were walking in the woods, it was weird. But hey, still Wenty. I think he had those aviators on too. As for the faxes from the future, I almost peed my pants during that scene. Seriously, one of the best pranks EVER!

For the record, I'm still chuckling about the two thumbs jokes. I'm easy, what can I say?

I asked The Office prop guy where Pam's teapot was purchased, sadly it was from a specialty shop in LA, so there are likely no more...

No updates that I can think of.

Hee! Jim's very qoutable. I'm sure you can find a similar teapot and paint it, right? It's not like it was a special design. Also, how did you find a prop guy to ask?

Don't hit me, but I kind of want Jim to like Karen back. She doesn't seem evil or sneaky or pushy. Plus, she's cute, though it took me a while to not see mean Karen Scarfoli from Freaks & Geeks instead.

I still want to know why we got lengthy "Lana is sad" scenes over a text message from Jimmy.

Mmm, Wenty. His only real flaw is the animal allergy.

OMG, I forgot to post this: so I'm stuck in the car last night, pissed off as hell, changing radio stations, and guess what comes on? Bonus points: guess which appropriate lyric was the first line I heard.

BTW, I want Clark/Ollie to be called Collie, because Clark's like a happy puppy & Ollie is blond :)

I'm so tired of Lana's half-assed Lady Macbeth. Either kill her off or reveal her to be an evil genius capable of crashing a school bus & blowing up a plane midair & faxing Lois memos from her future self, anything to make her stop sucking the life out of Lex's scenes.

HA!

I missed you. :)

Sorry, I got called in for a quick meeting. At least I got a break from Laguna Beach. Dude, they didn't bother to tell us the finale's a hour long :(

Okay, I'm seriously not being crazy, right? Because I'm still behind on a few eps, so I wasn't sure if I missed a "Lana gets injected with evil serum" scene.

I missed you, too, but I'll see you in Chicago!

Hahah. Oh, EXTENDED EPISODES! You need to be around more often to tell me magical things such as this exist! I had no idea!

Of course, it just stalled and doesn't seem to be restarting, so I guess I'll never know what Creed is doing with those digital pictures. Boo!

Meredith! She's my favorite who's not named Pam or Jim. Nothing like an alcoholic single mom who's got a secret slutty side.

I knew about the extended eps, but I feel like a traitor watching NBC at work when ABC's our top client ;)

There's a lot of little moments, like Kevin's "You mean, when you told us?" and something hilarious that Kelly says but I can't recall.

Seriously, that player sucks. It loads the video quickly but craps out all the time. I just let it play & didn't look at the screen.

The middle chapter won't play, and when I started the one after it, the Creed storyline had been resolved. What was he doing? Oh, tell me, please! I also didn't get to hear "My Humps." ::grumble grumble::

I got midway through chapter 2 before giving up, around when Jan showed up in Stamford. And yeah, Michael's ringtone changed from "Mambo #5" to "My Humps." Ugh, I know, but at least it's meant as a testament to Fergie's lameness.

Do you need the ep? I have the broadcast version, but it just won't be the same ;)
