I'm flying home this morning, so I was up at the crack of dawn doing my usual last-minute packing... on two hours' sleep. But I have a lot to be thankful for, so I'm not complaining. Much.

We are picking up a newspaper on the way over to my parents house. I can't seem to find anyone to get up early with me to go shopping. Although B said he would! Yeah. No. I'd probably only end up buying stuff for myself anyways, so I should just stay home and sleep in. I still want to see the ads though. To see what I will be missing!
Stop worrying about emailing me! I'm so far behind on email (and life in general) that it's not even funny. What can a girl do?!

Here I am, FINALLY in New Orleans (hey--Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett are filming 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button right in my neighborhood!)-- but as for shopping, I'm stocking up on all kinds of cheap stuff at the old French Market. They have all kinds of cool/weird stuff. They have these Mardi Gras mask ornaments-- six for five bucks. (If you buy them in the other end of town they're six dollars each. They're actually quite nice.)

Anyway, if you need anything like that, I'll be happy to help.
I'm so relieved to finally be here: if you need beads or other silly tacky glittery stuff, I'm available to send it.
