After a year of carefully constructed bump-intos that leave him dazed and you more than a little breathless, you’d like to think you know this Choi Minho person. Little things, like the fact that his school tie is always angled slightly to the right. Hair like he’d just gotten out of bed, sleepy eyes to match.
You know all of that but a year hasn’t taught you about how deep down, Minho’s actually a reminiscent sap at heart and perhaps this is your downfall, Minho ambling slow outside your classroom when he should be in some faraway college.
Your desk mate nudges you in the arm with a pencil. “Look who’s come to visit,” he says and the teacher is late today, Minho already walking past the second window pane of the class. “You’re such a wimp, if I were you I would just-”
“Just?”
“Do something like this: HEY MINHO, TAEMIN HERE IS HELPLESSLY IN LOVE WITH-mmpgh.”
Outside, he pauses mid step and you’re dumbfounded, hand clamped over your friend’s mouth. Seconds pass before a smile starts to spread across Minho’s face. It takes a while for you to realize that your desk mate is pointing straight at him.
