*giggle* "someone put a logo right over my face." --Mrs. Butterworth, Geico commercial.
that's totally cool and i wish i'd known about it! i might've gone. but the "swing lightly" rule is kind of...boring. I'm sure nobody followed that! also it would've been more fun indoors, like in a carpeted room or in a gym with mats you could fall on...
anyway, totally cool that you and miles were the interviewees! haha i bet a bunch of people lost their pillows... :p
do you think maybe the guy wouldn't have been arrested if he had a permit for this? (can you get a permit for a pillow fight?) when artists perform or whatever on church street, a permit is required. :p i think this must fall under that category, or be classified as a "disturbance" or something... i wonder if someone actually could get a permit for a pillow fight if they applied... hmm...
We had a "Pillow for Parkinson's" event here, where you basically had to pay a small fee to be a pillow fighter and all the money ended up going to an organization...that's what this reminded me of.
Hmm that looked fun but almost potentially dangerous. Poor guy better not be given a hard time by the cops, he didn't do anything wrong.
how did I miss out? ::pouts::addiebella16April 21 2009, 01:16:46 UTC
this was Friday the 17th??? I was IN Uncommon Grounds from 1.30 to 5! I was speaking with the director of the Noyes House Museum. Guess we were very focused ... ?
