I personally feel that pple always find it easy to have an open ltr cos there's no responsibility to bear... I mean it's like a u play with whoever u like and I do the same and we dun interference in each other life... Sounds fun and easy, rite? but dun you ever feel jealous or anything?

Me? I dun support open ltr... I am selfish... I just wish for someone to hug me to slp, someone to have my meals with, someone to take care of me when I am sick and someone to celebrate the festival sessions with me... I know what I want, so I work for it... Thus, I am happily attached and leading a life that I am proud of...

In open LTR, there is, to certain extent, responsibility to bear too. For example, the responsibility that both should play safe. The responsibility to not attach any feelings to the flings. Responsibilities as such are drawn out when both partners sit together and talk about it. I disagree with the use the word "no".

About jealousy, it depends on how much trust and faith you put in ur other half. Jealousy does not only happen to couples in an open r/s. Jealousy can appear in monogamous relationships too. Because at the end of the day, it all leads to insecurity and/or possessiveness, which also happens in both type of r/s.

But of cos I'm not trying to rebutt you or defend the stand for open r/s. In fact, I am proud and happy for you because you know what you want in your life.

think what's important is both parties in a relationship must agree on the same standard... monogamous r/s or open r/s. like a pre-nup or something.

shouldn't be a case that one party cheats on the other.
