You don't always have to rely on your far away friends to be there for you, it's cool that they care but you have friends here who care just as much. If you would only open your eyes and realize it.
No she dosnt have to rely on us.....its instinct...she KNOWS we will be there for her. Of course she is going to come to us with her problems probably before anyone down there....due to the fact that she has knows us all that much longer. Of course she can talk to people down there about her problems....I'm sure she knows that, but there is NO wrong in her not wanting to, maybe she just wants to talk to the people who have been threw all sorts of things with her and the people that just know how she is. Really this isnt meant to sound rude....but I have NO respect for people who are cowards and can't even state their own names....this isnt elementary school. She should disregard everything you say due to the fact you wont say your name...it shows weakness....change that or just stay quiet.

My name is ASHLEY and I was once one of Astrid's best friends, But I am no longer. That message was from LINDSEY and I. Unfortunately Astrid doesn't realize that we have gone through the same things as her in life, thats what happens when you grow up. We were here for her but she clearly chose that we werent what she wanted. She clearly proclaimed that we were not her friends, so friends we are no more. I understand her wanting to talk to her friends from home, your completely right that there is no wrong in that but thats no excuse for her being bitchy to people who care about her here.
I'm sorry....caring must have a different definition up here...I have NEVER had anyone who has cared for me hit me....for any reason, and I would NEVER dream of hitting anyone I cared for....no matter what the situation was....and I have the worst temper in the world. It's just something you dont do to people you care for...

Well although I think I'll probably be waiting forever, seeing as I really don't think she wants to talk to me ever again, although I really don't know what I did other than try to be a friend, I will take your advice, and I will back off and let her come to me. Although this is usually not the act I take because I get so distraught over having my friends upset, as was shown last week when Lindsey & Astrid had a fight. Although the fight had nothing to do with me, I was the one crying and trying to mend everyone back together, I guess I failed. Oh well, I can't do anymore. To Astrid: I've been giving you every opportunity to talk to me, I dont know what more I could have done to support you without jumping down your throat. If you ever feel like talking to me again, I'm here, but I won't come after you. I'm sorry about the events of tonight, but I believe I deserve an apology too because I was told that I meant jack sh*t to you. That hurts deep. But here I am again opening myself for you. I wouldn't take anything too personally from Astrid. She got in a lot of fights with people in Georgetown over stupid stuff. By the end of senior year no one really took it seriously.
