Something had happened to him in those three missing hours of his afternoon, something fundamental. Inside he was a changed man. All the rage and pain he’d been living with since his parents’ death seemed to have dissipated, and he was left instead with hope and a sense of purpose. He felt brand new.
The fact that Ollie thought this when he was looking at Lex added even more meaning to that revelation. I couldn't help wishing that little!Lex had a Chloe of his own. *Sighs again*
Yeah, I'm a closet Chlex fan, I admit it. *Blushes*
