-made some decisions about next year's residents, expectations
10-1: Video Vault
-watched The Mothman Prophecies/Party Monster
1:30-3: Environmental Studies: Case Studies
-learned why the levees failed in New Orleans from a guy who did a study for the government after Katrina
3-4:30: Intro to Historical Linguistics
-learned about phonemic change (mergers and splits), and the different steps in those gradual processes
4:30-5: Put something in the mail; tried to pick up a package (but failed because the package room was closed for no reason! haha)
5-6: Tutored Tamika and Dante
-a group of kids from University City High School come to our house for tutoring on thursdays, it's great
-the two of them were fighting over working with me, so we all worked together. don't think that'll happen again, though, since the two can't seem to stop flirt-fighting :P
6-6:45: Fed the lovely frog, scarfed some oatmeal
6:45-9:30: Went to see Gloria Steinem speak at the Penn Museum!
-expanded my brain, and i left feeling hopeful for the world.
9:30-10: Time for resting my brain, making/eating some tortellinis
10+: About time to get back to work on that 300-page bulkpack that gets my grad class through the midterm...
