27th Week? 28th Week? Whaat?

I'm confused.  Most of the websites tell me I'm 27 weeks pregnant.  Some say 28 weeks.  And some say that if I'm in my 27th week or 28th week, I'm in my 3rd trimester already.  Arrrgh, which is it?  I went to see the doctor last week and he said by the measurements of the uterus and baby, I'm about 26 weeks pregnant..last week.  So I should be in

i thought you count the # of weeks pregnant from the date you conceived?

it's still surreal knowing that you're pregnant, let alone gonna be a mommy soon! but you'll be a great mommy. just look at how your niece adores you... hehe

don't worry about not being set up yet. my bro-in-law and his wife are expecting around the same time as you and they're not even moved into their new house yet to even set up a baby room! haha

It's really weird but you count from when you had your last menstrual period, not the date you conceived. it's really confusing! so whenever you think you're pregnant, make sure you have the date of your last menstrual period ready at hand because they will ask for it alot!

it is surreal, right? i'm not ready for reality. :)

You count it based on the last menstual period, but if you're like me, irregular, we went by the ultrasound due date and it was pretty accurate b/c kurt was due on christmas day and he came the day after xmas...-Jennifer (from xanga)
