So I started student teaching yesterday. Sure it's a job I don't get paid for, but it'll (hopefully) be a great experience...and it's only 13 weeks. The teachers are pretty awesome, although I feel bad not remembering names...it's all very overwhelming. So...ever since I was "accepted" at St. Ignatius for student teaching, I was told "oh, school starts after labor day...thats how its always been at catholic schools" so I haven't been worried about not being in contact with my teacher or getting lesson plans done or anything like that. Apparently someone left a note in the main building of our campus in the girls bathroom saying "there's a bomb in the building" so UPD was called and everyone was told to either head to the soccerfields (in the rain) or leave if they had a car a little after ( Read more... )

so...6 day weekend was nice, albeit a little boring. I did not really catch up on my much needed sleep, but I did enjoy being lazy!
