Diamonds are a girl's best friend

A few months ago I was talking to my mum about getting her jeweller to source some 0.5 carat diamonds for me to be made into studs earrings coz my current ones are rather small. Instead she said she had a pair (I think around 0.75 carat?) in the safe deposit box which she doesn't really wear and so I could have them instead. Score!

Of course I don't mind. Initially when I first put them on I thought they might be a tad big for daily wear but after a day I think the size is just nice now. :p

The size is just nice for every day wear actually. I wear that size too and it's become such a staple, I forget they're there! I think anything bigger than 1ct is more befitting of tai tais.

Hmmm on the hand I think up to a 1.5ct solitaire looks good and not too distracting unless if you have really skinny fingers. But on the ears definitely anything over 1ct is a bit ostentatious.

Haha the good skin is actually due more to Merrill's photoshopping skills than anything else! He removed all the pigmentation on my cheeks. :p But yes I did have foundation on. A light layer of Giorgio Armani Face Fabric with Sofina Primavista loose powder over. :)

I heard raves for that foundation, does it gives the skin a dewy look?

The foundation is very sheer but does give a natural, dewy look hence why I like it. It does have silicones in it though which is what makes it go on so smoothly so if you don't like that you probably won't like the feel of this (think Smashbox Photofinish Primer).

Thanks J! It's actually a bit brighter red IRL but it's a nice change from the brown hair that I've been sporting for the past 1.5 years. :)
