Feature Wall

I'm sure everyone is sick of reading about house reno stuff but I'm so happy with how the feature wall in our room is coming along that I just have to post up a pic.

Good idea to add some embossed paper in the centre, who adviced on the interior design?
I thought plantation would have thicker slates? these look like venitian rather?

Exciting to see it all coming along, well done! I liek wooden floors too. You don't find many in Spore cos people like the coolness of marble tiles.

We came up with the interior design together with my dad! The wooden floorboards used in Australia are actually nicer than the parquet flooring here but it's too much of a hassle to redo the whole upstairs floor. I unpacked the canvases that you guys gave us today! It's sitting safely in my wardrobe right now. :)

Is it? The wallpaper is a little unusual but I think the recess bit is actually quite common?
