I'd guessed it would be something like that from Cas' reaction to the photo at the end of last chapter, but that didn't make reading it any easier :(. Poor Cas, he's had such a hard life and John really messed Cas up and treated him badly, whether it be as a bad father or as a pretty brutal rapist :(. I have to admit to being glad he's dead and unable to cause any more pain to his family.

I loved how Dean, Mary and Samuel rallied round. Did Dean tell them about John? What happens next? Will Castiel accept that they don't blame him for the life he's had and most especially not for John's actions? Will he be able to move on from it all now he's voiced it?
