I have a great Newsies story to tell.  I decided to watch it while my brother and sister in law were gone.  I watched the special features first, because that's just what I do.  And wouldn't you know I didn't even get to Carryin' the Banner before they walked in.  So I turned it off thinking I'd watch it later.  My sister in law asked what I was ( Read more... )

That's not as bad as my dad who even AFTER we watched Batman Begins (after he saw Newsies), he still didn't know Jack and Bruce were the same guy.

That's sad. My dad did the opposite thing my brother did. We were watching Batman and he asked me if Bruce was 'Cowboy'. That's what he calls him. And he can't remember the name of the movie. It's pretty funny.

My niece and I watched it again last night. She talked me into turning on the sing along feature too. Because she just had to sing along with every song. She's a Spot girl too. She would perk up even if his name was mentioned. That and she would say 'Never fear, Brooklyn is here' over and over again. She likes Jack and Blink too. She's smart for her age. She's only seven btw.

You’re lucky.

Everyone I know thinks that I’m crazy for liking the movie as much as I do.

And I know what you mean about King of New York. It’s definitely a song you want to sing along with.

My brother didn't like it. But I feel lucky to have someone to enjoy it with. My dad likes it too. He just hasn't watched it in a while. When he found I got it he asked me when he could borrow it. He's a huge Ann Margret fan.
