animexodom Jongin grunted, seeing his reflection on the mirror. He took a washcloth, wetting it a little before he wiped his face and neck. He scrunched his nose at the familiar bitter scent, eyes staring at the white fabric turned red in seconds. He washed it under the water before repeating the process once more. He opened his black shirt, smiling a bit that he had chosen the color as it made him difficult to be seen in the dark and wouldn’t upset him when he saw his clothes got blood all over it.
"You okay?"
Jongin saw Minseok's reflection through the mirror, leaning against the door frame. "Yeah." He dumped his shirt in the basket and opened his pants. "Are you?" he asked to his older brother who nodded.
"I'm good." Minseok smiled slightly.
Jongin eyed Minseok, who hadn't changed his clothes. He already opened his jacket and was only wearing his dark green shirt with some dark spots on it, obviously blood. "Please change your clothes. I feel like ripping it, hyung."
Minseok chuckled, waving his hand before he walked away, disappearing from the mirror. Just seconds after he appeared again, "Jun is cooking our dinner. Hope you're still hungry?"
"Yeah, be there in a minute." Jongin smiled. He dropped it as soon as Minseok left him and sighed out loud. He needed a shower; sweat and blood was all plastered on his body and he felt disgusting.
Jongin went downstairs, seeing his brothers already chatting and eating on the dining table. He took a seat beside Junmyeon, who quickly filled his plate with food, while Jongin poured some water into his glass.
"You okay?" asked Jongdae from across of him.
Jongin inhaled, "I'm fine. You all have been asking the same question."
"You don't look fine to us, Jongin. We met another dead end today and we know you're upset." Junmyeon put a hand on Jongin's shoulder, massaging it a little making the younger exhaled.
"I am upset. I will be even more upset if all of you keep reminding me about it." Jongin's tone was cold and the air suddenly felt thick. He ran a hand through his hair, eyes meeting three other pairs one by one. "I'm sorry. I'm just tired..."
"Eat, Jongin." Minseok knocked Jongin's foot from under the table, a grin formed on his lips and Jongin replied with a nod.
"Let's finish and sleep after this. We have to go to the forest again tomorrow morning. Can't we have a rest just one day, though? I heard there will be a festival by the end of this week. Can we go there?" Jongdae tugged on Minseok's shirt who's sitting beside him. His eyes went to Junmyeon and Jongin who were eating and pouted a little as no one seemed interested in his idea. "Minseok hyung?"
"Do you all want to go?" Minseok asked the other two.
Jongin only shrugged while Junmyeon tilted his head. "You really will let us go?"
"I'm kind of tired too. Maybe we can regain our energy by playing just a little. Who knows, we may get a new plan." Minseok nodded. He could imagine many stands on the street, lights all over the place with people laughing and having fun. Not bad to relieve the stress. They all needed that. "Yeah, I want to go." He ruffled Jongdae's hair whose eyes brightened up.
"Great!"
Jongin went to his own room after dinner, letting Jongdae and Minseok wash the dishes as it's their turn. He had to wake up tomorrow morning for the breakfast though and it made him groan when he closed his door.
Sitting on his study table, he opened his notebook and started writing about what happened earlier that day.
The Kim clan had been witch hunters for four generations already. Since they were children, Jongin and his brothers were taught every single thing about witches, starting from how to search for them and how to kill them. It was all started when his Great grandfather was kidnapped by a witch and almost died if wasn’t for a witch hunter’s help. His grandfather promised to learn under the hunter who helped him and he taught his son and daughter to continue his job.
They were famous for it and people from many towns called for them, wanting to use their services to save the children. The Kim almost never failed after so many years of training except for that one time.
They had been hunting for three days and Jongin just had gotten sick, not in a full alert condition. His brothers told him to look after the witch they just caught instead of joining them to discuss and Jongin agreed.
The witch said her name was D.O. and she looked like a normal human. Jongin and his brothers suspected that she was one of the grand witches when they found her inside of a small house in the forest, having a pretty face despite living in the forest. Grand witches were known to have the ability to change an ugly faces that witches usually had to look like normal person.
Jongin could feel the guilt that creeped inside of him as D.O. escaped because of him. If he hadn’t felt tired that time, D.O. wouldn’t have been able to reach for the nearest broom and knock him with it, successfully making Jongin lose consciousness. The witch was bound too, so Jongin and his brothers wondered how she was able to do it to Jongin. His brothers didn't blame him after they woke Jongin up, but the youngest never had any mistake since they officially started their job as witch hunters and it hurt his pride inside.
After the incident, Jongin had a hard time sleeping. He always got a nightmare of D.O. smiling to him, at least once a week. It wasn’t a wicked one, it was a beautiful one, showing the heart shape of her lips before she knocked Jongin off.
Jongin loathed it.
“I’m going to find you, D.O.” Jongin finished writing on his notebook, as always ending the page with the same words.

“It’s been three days and nothing. We got nothing at all, why it’s so hard to find just one witch!!” Jongin shouted out, throwing some papers into the table where his brothers were sitting.
Junmyeon calmly prepared some waters for them, Minseok had his arms folded while Jongdae stacked the papers neatly.
“Jongin, sit.” Junmyeon said, putting a glass of water down for Jongin who huffed and drank the water in one go after he sat. “Better?” asked Junmyeon.
“A little. Thanks, hyung.”
“I suggest that we take a day off tomorrow. I don’t want to see Jongin break something out of frustration like the last time.” Jongdae shook his head, started reading the papers on his hand just in case they missed something.
Jongin glared at his brother. He only threw a chair that time a week after D.O. was gone. His brothers had to remind him not to get out of control again but it’s been months and his patience was running thin.
Minseok sighed, “I agreed to go the festival so no, we’re still going tomorrow. The only one who should be resting is Jongin, Dae.”
Jongdae gasped, “I did help today, hyung! I’m tired, we’re all tired as much as Jongin! You spoil him too much, tsk.”
“It’s not that I spoil him, we all know how much he wants to catch D.O. I only want him to take his mind off this witch.” Minseok made a small smile to Jongdae who frowned but nodded seconds after.
“Yeah, you should rest, Jongin-ah. You had a nightmare again last night, didn’t you?” Jongdae stood up from his chair, giving the papers to Junmyeon and going to Jongin, hugging him sideways. “You should see those bags under your eyes, Jongin. Want hyung to sing you a lullaby?”
Jongin only sighed but nodded. He let Jongdae laugh and lead him to his own room, saying to Minseok and Junmyeon that he will be back in a minute.
“What do you want to hear?” Jongdae sat on Jongin’s bed; his younger brother had slipped inside the blanket and closed his eyes, one hand under his pillow as he faced Jongdae.
“Anything. As long as I won’t get a nightmare.”
Jongdae smiled, brushing Jongin’s hair gently as he opened his mouth and started to sing.
“Hey, you.”
Jongin rubbed his eyes, opening it slowly to stare at a pair of two large eyes staring at him. He cleared his throat, maintaining his position back as he kind of slumped down on his chair. He blinked his eyes a couple of times, sighing and directing them towards the witch.
The witch’s black hair was neatly braided to the side, her bangs reached her eyes. She wore a grey colored dress that ended at her knees. Her eyes were staring at Jongin and Jongin stared back, lifting one of his eyebrows.
“What?” Jongin finally said after minutes of staring.
“Just sleep. It’s not like I can do something with my hands tied like this.” Her voice was a little deep even as she whispered the words.
“Not a chance. I know what you witches can do.”
“I’m not what you think I am. I don’t abduct children and burn them inside an oven. I don’t have house covered with candies. I didn’t even fight back when all of you came to take me.”
“The decision is not in my hand.” Jongin covered his mouth as he yawned. He only had two hours of sleeping the day before and after walking for hours inside the forest he and his brothers finally found another witch who weirdly was taking care of her small garden around her house, looking calm when Jongin and his brothers were in sight.
It took no time for Jongdae to knock the witch down and for Minseok to put her on his back while Junmyeon and Jongin went inside the house to search if there was any child crying, waiting for help. They didn’t find any kid and the house was surprisingly clean like it didn’t belong to a witch but a human. Junmyeon couldn’t even find any trace of some magic herbs or suspicious bottles with weird colored liquid inside.
Jongin had been staying with the witch after. He hadn’t talked to his brother to know what they thought about the witch and he couldn’t wait until one of them came to switch with him and watch the witch. He needed his bed and sleep, even one hour was enough.
“I never knew witch hunters could be as young as you. How old are you?” asked the witch.
Jongin stared at the girl who had innocent eyes. “Old enough to kill you.”
The witch looked shocked for a moment before she chuckled. “You think every witch is a bad witch, huh? Let me guess, you had a bad experience with them? Or is it your parents that---” she paused, “Of course it’s your parents. All of you are hunters. I wonder how you can confidently bring me to your place. Aren’t you afraid that someone will run away from this place, hm?”
“Would you just shut up? If you’re not going to sleep then I will.” Jongin grunted before he closed his eyes, hands crossed over his chest.
“Good night, Jongin.”
Jongin stopped breathing for a second.
How come she knew Jongin's name?
“Jongin? Jongin? Hey, wake up, brother!!”
Jongin opened his eyes wide, inhaling hard as he saw Junmyeon and Jongdae were staring down to him.
“Are you okay? You’re mumbling words in your sleep. Did you dream of her again?” Junmyeon wiped the sweat on Jongin’s forehead, Jongdae helping the youngest to sit up and telling Jongin to change his shirt.
Jongin obliged, opening his shirt that was stuck to his back and changing it with the shirt Jongdae gave to him. He drank the water offered by Junmyeon, the two older men watching for their brother. Jongin took a deep breath, licking his dry lips and lifted his eyes to see the clock.
“Two hours and seventeen minutes.” Jongdae had been staying in Jongin’s room, counting how long Jongin slept. He glanced at Junmyeon who shook his head without looking at Jongdae. “Just go back to sleep, Jongin.”
“I can’t hyung.” Jongin scratched his hair, feeling his damp bangs and hating it. He wanted to take a shower but his body was too tired to move so he lied on his back again, facing his brothers. “Can I really stay tomorrow?”
“Yes, you should stay and take as much rest as you need.” Junmyeon reassured with a smile. “I will cook something for you so you just need to reheat it.”
Jongin smiled back, taking Junmyeon’s hand into his. “Thank you, hyung. I’m really sorry. I wish I didn’t fall asleep that day…” he murmured, closing his eyes.
“It’s not your fault, Jongin-ah. No one is blaming you.” Jongdae brushed Jongin’s hair, turning into Junmyeon who stared back hopelessly.
Jongin hummed, listening to the sweet voice belonging to Jongdae before he once again went to sleep.
Minseok looked up when the door to their study room opened, Junmyeon coming inside along with Jongdae. He watched the fallen faces of his brothers which made him pursed his lips. “He’s back to sleep?” He’d heard Jongin’s screams and tried hard not to go to Jongin’s side knowing Junmyeon and Jongdae were there.
“Yeah. It’s good that I decided to stay” Jongdae pouted, sitting beside Minseok on the sofa and put his head on the older’s shoulder. “Poor Jongin…”
Junmyeon went to the window, watching the sky turn pinkish with a combination of orange and yellow. Seeing his own reflection on the window made him sigh. “Where is this witch hiding? How come we never get to see her again?”
“We seriously need to get her. I can’t hold it anymore seeing Jongin like that. He needs to live peacefully, it’s not his fault that she ran away.” Jongdae took a pillow and hugged it to his chest.
“We never found out how she did it. We didn’t find a wand on her, not a trace of being a witch either. Maybe she’s not a witch?” Minseok said, hand playing with his own hair as he tried to remember D.O. “Is she a white witch? There are still white witches, right?”
“I thought they usually blend in with the people in the town?” Junmyeon went to the sofa, taking a place on the other side of Minseok. “How many white witches have we encountered?”
“So far seven. Their descriptions really match D.O actually. Innocent face, fair skin, black hair---no, not always black. That one had blonde hair and the other with dark brown hair. But they didn’t fight us back, they tried to explain things unlike those wicked witches who instantly run away.” Minseok patted Jongdae’s head in thanks, making a smile when the younger grinned to him.
“We will talk again tomorrow. Let’s go to sleep.” Minseok nodded to Junmyeon and Jongdae, standing up and going to his room.
“Hyung?” Jongdae called for Junmyeon who hummed in reply. “Aren’t you going to sleep?”
“Just go ahead. I feel like I can’t sleep now.” Junmyeon sighed. He smiled when he felt arms wrapping on his body, “Jongdae-yah…”
“Want me to sing for you too?” There’s a hint of teasing on Jongdae’s voice.
“Will you?”
Jongdae was surprised by Junmyeon’s answer. Junmyeon never wanted it, he always said how he didn’t need it and was always telling Jongdae to go to Jongin. “Let’s go to your room then.”
Junmyeon hummed again, letting himself being pulled by Jongdae as his mind lingered on Jongin.
***
Jongdae clinged to Jongin's arm, pulling him to stalls that took his attention, asking if Jongin wants something. Jongin only shook his head and let Jongdae buy anything that he wanted. Minseok and Junmyeon were following behind them, watching people having smiles on their faces and forgetting their problems for a while.
"Let's play that game! I think that stuffed toy will be a good friend for Jongin so he can sleep!" Jongdae snickered when Jongin threw a glare to him. They headed to the shooting stall, each taking a gun on their hands and started shooting the targets.
They all ended up getting stuffed toys but Minseok and Junmyeon gave theirs to some kids who watched them and applauded. Jongdae refused to give his puppy stuffed toy and Jongin secretly smiled at the rabbit stuffed toy on his hands.
"Anyone wants to eat? I'm hungry now." Minseok waited for his brothers, nudging Junmyeon to see Jongin staring at his stuffed toy and shared smiles with Junmyeon.
"Yeah, let's eat! What do you want to eat, Jonginnie?" Jongdae hugged his puppy tightly on his arms, staring up to Jongin who copied Jongdae.
"Meat."
Minseok sighed, propping his head with his hand watching Jongin eat his meat. "Jongin-ah, you look like you haven’t eaten in days. Are you getting revenge or something?"
Junmyeon drank his water while Jongdae leaned on his chair, rubbing his belly. Jongin was the only one that kept munching and stuffing his mouth with meat. He made a peace sign with his hand before continued eating.
"I'll go to the toilet." Junmyeon patted Minseok's shoulder and stood up, asking the waiter where the toilet was.
After the plate was clean, Jongin finally leaned into his chair and smiled sheepishly to Minseok who rolled his eyes.
"Ask for the bill." Minseok ordered.
Jongin nodded, calling the nearest waitress. He moved his eyes around the room and smiled a little. All customers were enjoying their meals, talking and laughing with their families and it calmed Jongin a little knowing that there were many children at the restaurant. He knew that tomorrow he will have to concentrate on his job again but one day off was what he needed sometimes to recharge his energy, just like Jongdae said.
Jongin was watching the earlier waitress walk back to him when his eyes caught something. Large eyes and a pair of thick lips that belonged to a young boy who just slipped back into a door that he guessed was only for employees. He suddenly stood up and caused a screeching sound from his chair, shocking Jongdae and Minseok. Ignoring his brothers who asked him what’s wrong, Jongin took long strides to the door, opened it and saw a changing room. The light was dim and there was no one there.
Taking a deep breath, Jongin closed the door. Was it his imagination? Was it because he's thinking of D.O. that much that he started to have an illusion of her?
"What are you doing here, sir?" a soft voice came from behind one of a tall drawer. A boy shorter than Jongin was covering his bared torso with a shirt; it seemed like he was changing his clothes when Jongin came in.
Jongin approached the man and took his wrist, pulling him near the light to see him better.
The man widened his eyes, looking up to Jongin who had one hand on his chin, tilting his head here and there.
It was the exact same face. Fair skin, big eyes, thick lips but...this was no girl. The man cowered when Jongin leaned in, turning his head away.
"S-sir, I need to ask you to leave. This is only for employees." he whispered.
"What's your name?" asked Jongin, tugging his hand to make the man stare back at him.
"K-kyungsoo." the boy stuttered, gulping at the way Jongin stared at him.
Jongin took a deep breath, "Kyungsoo-ssi. You have to come with me."
Minseok, Junmyeon and Jongdae raised their eyebrows seeing Jongin dragged someone behind him. They recognize that face so well and waited for Jongin to explain.
"We need to go back" was the only thing Jongin said as he passed the table, pulling Kyungsoo out of the restaurant.
"W-wait, sir! I need to tell my boss first! I just arrived!" Kyungsoo had a trouble matching his footsteps with Jongin, almost stumbling couple of times.
"You won't work in that place anymore." Jongin stopped so suddenly, making Kyungsoo bump to him..
"Ouch." Kyungsoo rubbed his nose and yelped when he was suddenly lifted by Jongin bridal style. "What are you doing?! P-put me down!!"
"Do you want me to drop you?"
"W-what?" Kyungsoo looked up to Jongin who continued walking, his hands tight on his arm and at the back of his knees.
"Say one more word and I’ll drop you." Jongin glared at Kyungsoo and Kyungsoo was too scared to say a word, opting to shut his mouth tight.
Jongin increased his pace as he felt his heartbeat quicken. He couldn't wait get home and ask this man about the witch that had been haunting him for the past months.
Jongin rubbed his temple at Kyungsoo’s pleading eyes.
"Why are you doing this to me? What did I do?"
"You ran away from me, from us."
"I told you before I don't know what you're talking about! I have only meet you today, sir!" Kyungsoo tried to move his body but it was useless as the man had bound him to a chair. He whimpered helplessly.
"Stop calling me sir. Do I look that old?" Jongin huffed, waiting for his brothers to discuss Kyungsoo without him, again. Did they want to repeat the same mistake by leaving him alone with the man that looked like D.O.?
The door finally opened after five minutes that felt like forever to Jongin. He turned his head to his brothers who came one by one inside the living room.
"So?" Jongin was sitting still on the couch, eyes to Jongdae who sat beside him and put a hand on his shoulder. Jongdae shook his eyes and Jongin went stiff.
"I think he's a different person," Minseok said.
"That's not possible!! He had the exact same face!" Jongin raised his voice a little and Junmyeon gave a look to him. Jongin only rolled his eyes and cleared his throat.
"Kyungsoo, do you have any siblings? A twin, maybe?" Junmyeon approached Kyungsoo with a smile on his lips, his voice was smooth.
"N-no, sir. I'm the only son."
"Are you sure?" Junmyeon rounded the chair to open the tie on Kyungsoo’s hands, knowing that it’ll make Kyungsoo feel safe and drop his guard.
"Thank you." Kyungsoo took a deep breath when he saw the marks on his hands. "I swear I'm the only son. I think you have mistaken me for somebody else." He stared up to Junmyeon who hummed.
"Maybe we are. But to know if you're lying or not---" Junmyeon sighed, pulling his knife and put it right on Kyungsoo's neck in seconds. Kyungsoo froze, feeling something cold on his flesh, Junmyeon’s face was so close to his and the glint on his eyes were dangerous.
Kyungsoo held his breath, scared of making any movement. "W-what are you doing? What’s pressing on my neck?"
"It’s a knife. I’m sorry, It’s just a test." Junmyeon’s smile was back, his eyes turning crescents. He pulled away casually before putting back his knife on it’s sheath.
"What do your parents do for a living, Kyungsoo?" Minseok asked, tilting his head.
"My mother died when I was a little and my father is a hunter." Kyungsoo was still staring carefully at Junmyeon, to the spot where he put his knife to be exact.
"A normal hunter?"
Kyungsoo shook his head. "A witch hunter."
Kyungsoo flinched when he heard a loud bam coming from the man who captured him, banging his fist to the coffee table. The man who stood up now was staring at him with so much hate that he felt like shrinking on his place.
"You're lying!"
"Jongin, calm down." Jongdae pulled Jongin down by force. Jongin inhaled deeply, running a hand on his hair.
"I'm not lying. You can come to my father if you don't believe in me." Kyungsoo turned to face the man who he thought had the kindest face although he was as dangerous as the others, almost slicing his neck with a knife.
Junmyeon walked to Minseok and whispered something to him. Minseok shook his head and went to Jongin who glared at him.
"Go back to your room." Minseok said.
"But, hyung!" Jongin stood up from his chair again, towering over Minseok who didn't look intimidated at all.
"Now."
Jongin took a deep breath and whispered a fine. He climbed the stairs and went to his room, his brothers watched his back with pity but knew that their youngest brother was full of anger and it wouldn’t help them get information from Kyungsoo.
"Now, Kyungsoo. You can tell us the truth. " Junmyeon sighed, taking a seat beside Jongdae. "My name is Junmyeon. This is Minseok and Jongdae. Jongin was the one who brought you here. We are all witch hunters, just like your father."
Kyungsoo blinked his eyes. "All of you?"
"Yes. We are currently searching for this witch who has the exact same face as you. It’s been months and we couldn't find any lead. We are hoping you know something about her. Are you sure you're the only son?" Minseok took a seat, signalling his brothers to follow.
"I am the only son." Kyungsoo repeated.
"Why did your father became a witch hunter? Since when did you live in this city?" Jongdae’s happy tone and his bright smile made Kyungsoo unconsciously reply to it.
"I moved here around two months ago. My father...I never ask him that question. All he told me is that I can't be a witch hunter." Kyungsoo pressed his lips tight. "Maybe because I followed him once and I almost got killed."
"Got killed?" Jongdae was sitting right, taking an interest in Kyungsoo's story.
"I was young. The witch caught me when I was following my father and she almost-almost--" Kyungsoo took a deep breath as he recalled the memory. "Threw me inside the oven if I hadn’t bitten her hand and run away. My father was fast to kill her and she was gone in a minute." His voice got smaller as he stared down to the floor.
Junmyeon sighed, seeing the look on Kyungsoo’s face. He leaned to Minseok and asked what they should do. Minseok knew if he brought Kyungsoo back to his house Jongin would throw a fit the next morning. He only had one choice and hoped that what happened last time won’t happen again.
"Kyungsoo. You have to sleep here tonight. We will bring you back to your house tomorrow but we need to check on something first." Minseok watched the change of expression on Kyungsoo's face. Kyungsoo looked sad but relieved at the same time. "What about your father, won’t he get worried if you don’t come back tonight?"
Kyungsoo shook his head, “He hasn’t come back for around a week, I’m sure he won’t be back by tomorrow.”
"Great. You can use Jongdae room. He will show you the way." Minseok smiled to Jongdae who stood up and went to Kyungsoo. "Come on, let's go to my room! Do you want me to sleep with you?"
Kyungsoo widened his eyes at the offer, "N-no, I'm okay. Thank you for the offer, Jongdae-ssi." He followed Jongdae to the stairs.
Jongdae grinned. "How old are you?"
"Eighteen."
"Oh. You look fifteen." Jongdae touched Kyungsoo's cheek and whispered a sorry. "You're so cute, Kyungsoo." He almost squealed seeing how Kyungsoo’s cheeks turned slightly pink.
"Uhm, how old are you?"
"You can call me hyung. I'm twenty one." Jongdae pulled Kyungsoo to his room, going upstairs after Kyungsoo bowed to Junmyeon and Minseok.
"Is it okay if I use your room? I can sleep on the couch, hyung." Kyungsoo saw many doors on the second floor. The hall was dark, there was only one lamp on the end of the hall.
"It's fine. We have many room here, but the others are full of stuff. It’s more for storage." Jongdae opened the door of his room and let Kyungsoo inside.
Kyungsoo gasped when he saw Jongdae's room. It was big, around twice the size of his own room and it looked so cozy. There was large sofa that could turn into a bed, a king size bed, two white drawers that went into the ceiling and a wooden desk full of papers near the large windows. One wall was full of books that made Kyungsoo wondered if Jongdae had read all of them.
"I did."
Kyungsoo turned to Jongdae who grinned. Had he said it out loud?
"People always have the same reaction when they came to my room. I look like a type who doesn't like to read, huh?" Jongdae went to the drawer and opened it, searching for clothes for Kyungsoo and himself to change into as Kyungsoo checked on the room.
Kyungsoo wasn't sure if he could sleep there. The bed looked too comfortable but it’s kind of scary being alone in the huge room.
"Here. I will sleep on Junmyeon hyung's room which is just next door. Across from this room is Minseok hyung's room and you can find the bathroom beside of it. Jongin room is the first door near the stairs. Please don't go out of my room when you hear weird sound at night, okay?" Jongdae gave a pair of clean clothes to Kyungsoo.
"What do you mean by weird sound?"
"It's better if you don't know. Remember not to do anything, okay?" Jongdae smiled. "Knock the door when you need something. You can make your own food in the kitchen if you're hungry."
Kyungsoo was curious but he nodded anyway. "Thank you, Jongdae hyung."
Junmyeon and Minseok waited until Jongdae came back, telling him to sit down again.
"Did you tell Jongin that Kyungsoo is sleeping in your room?" asked Junmyeon.
"No. Why?" Jongdae took the bottle of water near Minseok and drank it. He wiped his lips with his sleeve and blinked, "I told Kyungsoo not to get out when he heard any weird voice or you know, Jongin’s voice when he got a nightmare."
"Why did you tell him that?" Minseok frowned, taking a look at Junmyeon who's writing the information they got from Kyungsoo.
"I don't want him to come to Jongin's room and making it worse, of course. He seems like the type to help people in need." Jongdae shrugged. He eyed Junmyeon who gave the paper to Minseok and pulled his chair closer to the oldest. "You think he's lying?"
"No." Minseok answered. "But I don't want to trust him either."
"We don't have to watch him tonight, right?" Junmyeon looked up to Jongdae who put his head on his own arms on the table. He tilted his head when Jongdae mouthed something to him.
"No, he won't run away, I'm sure of that." Minseok read the notes once again before sighing. "Let's go to bed, I'm tired." He could read it again tomorrow to find out if there’s any sign that Kyungsoo’s story was a lie.
"Good idea!" Jongdae straightened his back, he turned to Junmyeon with a grin. "I'm sleeping with you by the way."
"What?" Junmyeon widened his eyes. "Why me?"
"Cause Minseok hyung doesn't like it when I hug him when we're sleeping together." Jongdae pouted to Minseok but smiled when Minseok patted his head.
"I can't breathe when you do that."
Junmyeon grumbled something under his breath, standing up and walked to the stairs. Jongdae quickly ran after him, afraid that Junmyeon will lock his room cause he always did that before he went to bed.
"Wait for me!!”
