we may not agree with a lot of the same things politically and all that, but i know that whatever you believe in--you are really passionate about it. and i think thats a trait that is absent in a lot of people. you really care about the things you care about, and you are like a rock--you wont be shaken.
as far as careers, no se. but maybe those words up there will help ease the feeling of insecurity that you and i and everyone else feels about our future.
hey, genius.arleneblancoFebruary 1 2006, 01:02:17 UTC
sarah.
you are by far one of the most intelligent people i know.
and, although i dont know the feeling on a first hand basis. the stress colleges put on students to finalize their major is so annoying.
as all the comments above, and more. i think you can be whatever youw ant to be. honestly. versatility isnt even a word to come close to defining you. you are so different. you can adjust to any situation as needed.
although i cant recommend much. please just follow your heart, your dreams, your aspirations. do something that will truly make you happy. no matter what.
i love you dearly, and i know i gave absolutely no suggestion what so ever. you have so much talent and experience underneath your belt. you can literally do anything and everything. youre superwoman sarah.
ill be thinking about you and your situation. if i come up with anything, ill let you know..

that means a lot to me, arlene. thank you for writing something because i feel like i need all the help i can get.
i am always really happy for you when i read your entries about you at work because you are already doing something that you love, something that is leading to a great future. people with jobs make me feel so lazy.
btw, i meant to tell you that you new pic is really pretty.

I read this yesterday, but decided to sleep on it, since youre a very important person to me and since you asked for my opinion, I thought it was only fair to give you a well thought answer

You know...justiceaddictFebruary 1 2006, 17:10:30 UTC
...what I think...but those points you brought up the other day about not being dedicated to art and having an affection towards human interaction are hard to argue with.
I think we should just both do Green Day cover songs and live off of that for the rest of our lives. Occasionally bombing the hell out of government agencies with homemade materiel and trying to assassinate the president with guns made out of plastic like in In the Line of Fire starring Harrison Ford as Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.*
That would be sweet lovey.

ahh i can't believe i didn't see this post earlierpriss327February 2 2006, 16:53:58 UTC
sorry it's taken me so long to respond but for some reason i just saw it..weird.
ok well i've been thinking about this a lot myself and it bugs me 'cause sometimes i feel that certain people have these natural talents and gifts that they could form huge careers out of and i have none.ugh. i mean sure i'm good at stuff but nothing like..i can sing good so i should be a singer, etc. you sarah are one of those people. you have an amazing ability to draw and be creative. remember you use to try and teach me to draw people..lol. i still have the journals. i always thought you'd be perfect for a job like that even though you've grown to have more of a liking in politics and such. i dunno i really did always think you'd be a designer or something dealing with that. who knows.
