I've decided I'm against aging... (WHINE ALERT)

Remember when we thought everyone would live forever.

I miss it.

I'm tired of this aging crap.   Bonnie's stepdad finds out tomorrow if his throat cancer has spread, Mom is moving into a memory care unit tomorrow, our friend Dave just lost his second leg to diabetes.

I don't think I'm terribly vain about aging myself, but seeing the people I love

I was a lot more tired of aging, before my mother was put into a memory care unit for dementia. I see her almost every day, and I've found a real sense of purpose in visiting with the residents, and just helping out. Now that my kids are a bit older, I've been looking for a place for service, and it seems I've found my niche.

Hey, as long as my brain works most days, I promise I'll quit bitching about aging!
