Last Friday, my boss and 10% of my department got fired, so I knew it was going to be an interesting day today, and it definitely was.   I was at work for 30 minutes when they fired me, too. (along with others).

Reason given was that my call time on the phone was more than the 2:47 average they want. Estimate that at least half the department is

Thanks for the rave, and letting me rant a bit. Had major insomnia last night, hashing things over in my head, and realized I need to put my Big Girl Panties on and get over it. Got one application out last night, today I do housework and resumes!

I am so sorry! I sympathize, I have recently joined the unemployed as well. I am sharing a lot of the same feelings. I was proud of the job I was doing, but the new manager didn't have the same opinion and I just couldn't change his opinion of me. I hope that your unemployment is short and ends with a fantastic job that makes you happy!
