In the early evening, something starts to happen. Most of the inhabitants of the barracks won't notice, but for those who ate the odd green possibly-vegetables from the cornfield... it will be hard to ignore.
It starts with a vague pain in the abdomen, possibly the feeling that something's... shifting restlessly inside them. But within an hour, or two, that escalates to sharp, tearing, excruciating pain. There's now definitely something moving inside, visibly pressing out against the abdominal wall, searching for the most direct way out.
Those affected may want to seek what medical attention they can find. Or just sit around and watch as something claws its way out of their body. Up to them.
[OOC: If you happened to eat the green stuff from the cornfield, congratulations - you now have a baby alien climbing out of your appendix! :D (If your character ate the green stuff and they don't have an appendix for some reason... they're fine. Lucky them.)
You do not have to have actually threaded out eating the green stuff; all you have to do is tag in here for alien-related trauma, and... don't worry, you'll get medical attention, and no one's going to die. Tonight.]
