As far as Alec was concerned, good moods were contagious.
Part of it was due to the fact that Alec was a giant five year-old and the other part of it being he didn’t exactly have very many pleasant childhood memories, but when someone was as bright and cheery and just friendly over the communicator, the way Rapunzel was? Well, it made Alec a little more inclined to help her out. Especially if there’s paint involved. There’s a lot of repressed creativity that loves him some paint. Besides, the girl’s best friend was a chameleon. How awesome was that? (See? Giant five year-old.)
He headed out of the castle and back down towards the barracks. There might have been just a little bit of pep in his step and by the time he was heading through the gate and down to the cabins, looking for the blond who had spoke with him earlier. He matches up the trees and cabins with the picture in his mind, before starting to look around.
“Rapunzel?” He paused for a moment, before smirking and tipping his head to the side. “Pascal?”
Hey, it was worth a shot.
