That's a great article. It's sad in today's society (and especially with this economy) that mothers are forced to decide if they can even afford to take their initial 6 weeks maternity some of the time. It is a dilemma I am faced with as I won't have been at my job long enough to qualify for maternity and I don't know that we can afford for me to take too much time unpaid.
