Hi. I emailed you a couple of days ago regarding some House photoshoots posted on your House LJ community. I was wondering if you received it? Or did you just decide to not reply and chalk it up to whatever crazy person. Or that you are going accept the risks?

Because at least I have one thing to be grateful. They at least took the courtesy of not crediting me.

I'm not the active moderator in the community so I didn't want to step in and handle anything. We discussed it and I believe our current answer is we'll leave it until the official people complain then we'll remove it. It's not quite right to say that it's not okay for them to repost copyrighted work, when you've done it as well.

Well, I remove them from my account after it scrolls off my page and I don't post them on communities of any sort. It is not permanently on there but that person's is. My LJ is also not RSS'd or on search engines because I coded in my own tags and didn't rely on LJ's coding. While your community is on search engines and how I found them. All the people who read me, don't repost them on theirs either. Or they FLock. It would have been better if you FLock the post for one community mod asked me once if she could post pictures off my LJ. I told her the risk and she FLocked all mine along with a note of warning to fansites to be wary of this.

Just thought it might be more wise. If you are not going to remove them, then perhaps suggesting to that person to state fansites should be wary and to Flock it. A lot of the fansites don't know and they may just put them on their galleries only to be found later by them.
