I am now offically 'at risk' of redundancy. And so far the University are treating my whole department pretty poorly, yet still maintaining the bare minimum legal requirements! When I have more time I will do a proper update!
Ah, that's unfortunate. I thought this might happen to NAGTY staff eventually as I know that the university didn't renew the NAGTY contact with DfES for various reasons (but I suspect you probably know what those are working there and all!).
If it's any consolation, if you're made redundant you'll have recourse to public funds which should help tide you over in the job hunt.
