exhaustion

ok so i usually never run out of energy. people who know me know that i never sleep. but after spending 24 hours in a van or running i am exhausted. portland to coast was the most amazing experience that I have ever participated in. I'm tired, very sore, and a little guilty about the passing events during the race, but I am totally doing it next ( Read more... )

:) That's so cool--my friends and I were driving to Scappoose at 9-ish and we were passing runners; anyway, it was exciting to scream 'you're a beast!' and 'nice ass!' to all the lovely runners as we were going along. I think there was a point to that, but I'm not sure what. Anyway, you're basically really, really awesome.

omg i was running around 9ish to scappoose and i heard this high pitch scream and i couldnt tell if the voice said "you got sass" or "nice ass" but i felt complimented none the less. haha jk jk. i think actually ruth ran at that time and she ran into scappoose, to the fred meyer there. she WAS a beast. it was impressive. you would have been proud kate, oh so proud.
