It's coming to an end :( everything just gets deeper and heavier... Each and every character in this drama is significant. They have distinct personalities, why they act that way. Basically just boils down to how well this is written. I don't know how will this end...so that makes me anxious and scared too. But for sure, even if this drama ends, it ( Read more... )

Saku was raised well by his papa, and Takebe too. He was momentarily swayed by Hachisuka but his pure heart won over. But this would eventually cost him his life :( as you said, such a cruel thing of fate. True, this was a really sad episode...every scene! Damn... They made Kokubo cry a lot XD if there's an Algernon mama, it should actually be him, not Haruka XD

Sakuto was just being honest with his thoughts to Haruka. He had to let her know that what she did isn't right, is not something Sakuto would do...even if it was painful for Sakuto also to do so. That's why he didn't face her when he said that, also because it would be painful too to see Haruka hurt.. just... T___T

I can't with the preview :( This is another Nojima masterpiece for sure. No matter what the ending is, it's definitely something thought provoking.

Thanks for the long comment :) one more to go :(

"You're happy not because you laugh but you laugh to be happy."
This drama is so good in so many ways!
The seed of kindness huh? So Sakuto is the flower? On less serious note, Pi is more beautiful than a flower. lol~
Anyway, I feel that Sakuto now is the best but I'm worried so much for him. I don't want anything bad to happen to him just like Haruka.
I like the conversation he had with Haruka. Its frustrating coz its true, by not letting Sakuto help Rio, Haruka is restraining the kindness but if Sakuto don't know about Rio, he can focus on helping himself. Its sad... T_T
And about Sakuto refusing to test the ALG beta to another mouse and saying one is enough... My heart is crying. I wish there will be a happy ending but I know there won't. But I'm sure there will be a heartwarming ending...
We don't know if Sakuto will die or just revert to his old self but either way is a sad ending anyway...
Thank you for translating as always...

True, true, Pi is more beautiful than a flower lol but more than how Saku looks, it's his inside that is the most beautiful of all. I can totally understand now how everyone - from Nojima to the director and the cast talks about the pureness of Sakuto. He's the result of the seed planted by his father.

And that's why he had to let Haruka know that what she did wasn't right and why he had to leave Hachisuka - they have different ways - and he's saving someone who's not even his family. Because if he doesn't do that, then his and Algernon's existence wouldn't have meaning at all.

The preview is scary. It seems he will not only revert but experience pain too :( whyyyyy

Sorry to add another comment!
This week's tearjerk for me is Kokubo-Algernon story. I feel the love he had for Algernon~~
I mean from the 1st episode he is the one who took care of Algernon. Even when everyone attention switched to Sakuto, he still with Algernon. So I can understand the deep connection he had with Algernon. He even talked about his ideal type with Algernon eventho Algernon is just a mouse.
At 1st I just thought Kokubo is some young cocky researcher with idol charm(lol), but now I really like him...

I will also reply to your other comment lol

Like I said, every character here in this drama is important. Who'd think that the cocky researcher in charge of Algernon is that deeply connected to the mouse and that significant to the story, right. Even though Kokubo's idol-like acting was distracting at times, another thing I liked about him is he never changed how he treated Saku even when he became a genius, he was still Saku-chan to Kokubo. Kokubo and Sakuto were only the ones who treated Algernon not just as a rat or test subject but a friend.

It's so frustrating! I almost wanna be selfish like Haruka. I want Sakuto to help himself instead of Rio (T_T) Fate is so cruel. Rio will live and Sakuto will die(in a sense).

I found this episode quite hard too. I really hope Haruka will stay will Sakuto in the end, otherwise it's too damn sad. Yanagawa knows what's going on. (T_T) Will Sakuto still stay will the flower delivery service? Or will he go somewhere else? Will they still be his friends? Looking forward to it.

I feel your frustration. And that's why Haruka did what she did because she knew Sakuto would choose to help others first than himself :( Algernon's death triggered this more, probably.

I don't think Haruka will leave or would want to leave Sakuto but I don't think Sakuto would still want to be with her :( and that's because he loves her, he wouldn't want to weigh on her anymore. Just a guess though. But deep down in my heart I want them to be together too, even for what's remaining of his life.

If Sakuto might not be with Haruka, I think he'll keep his friends. Another important aspect I've seen in this drama is the male friendship bond.

And, dare I hope Haruka to have a little Saku? lol just a crazy idea XD
