So I am up early and doing my morning routine of looking for a job drinking some really good tea and thinking about my manger at work. See her and her boyfriend of 7 years just broke up( which is to say that he broke up with her and said some really shitty things in the process). I listen to her everyday say that she called him the night before ( Read more... )

sometimes strong people, whether they realize it or not,
get a lot of their strength from those around them. not
only friends, whos laughter at their jokes and interest in what
they've got to say buoy a person's spirits and allow them to do
things they might not have had the will to do before, but lovers
especially lend us the strength to hold our heads high. when we
lose that it's like losing a limb. it may even feel like losing much more when we're with a person long enough to expect them to
be there, to lift us up when we're down, and to give us strength.
the only thing you can do is give yourself time to grow used to
having that buoy out of your life. if you're determined to carry
on you'll find other things and people who give you strength, but
it takes time, and a willingness on one's part to believe.

Yeah you are completely right. Like moving here I still have Jason but that's it. I don't have you or Mandie or Molly or pop rox to put things into perspective. I am really sad about that and miss you all everyday. YOU ALL WERE MY BOUY. I guess I feel frustrated because there is nothing that I can do to help her see it from another angle. I know that this is subject is really touchy. I just needed to get it out there.
