My child was saved today by Jesus. He took Him as his savior, and was born into God's family. He is now a member of the Christian family.
To people who know Jesus, this post is anything but random. It is the best thing that could ever happen. Now he will have everlasting life in God's kingdom, rather than dying a 1000 deaths in Hell.
There doesn't have to be a near fatal accident. He has known about Jesus and talked to him his whole life, but today he decided to accept him as his savior. It was his time.
There wasn't anything that caused him to think about it other than God. We haven't been to Bible school or anything this week until tonight. It was just his time to accept the Lord.
If you don't know Him, I'll be glad to help you find Him. If not, maybe another time.
Was he at Vaction Bible School?? We just finished up our VBS - over 300 children; with 92 salvations and another 70+ rededications. Most of these families don't even attend our church!! God is just so AWESOME!!!
No, he wasn't at Bible school. He just started asking questions, and we called the preacher, and he came over and talked to him. Avery then told him that he knew he loved Jesus, and that Jesus loves him, and that he wanted to go to heaven to see him, and all the people he loved.

Have you not ever heard about God and Jesus?

But, if it's in the future, doesn't your comment assume there is continued belief?
But, yeah, seriously, this post does seem random? What is the cause of it? Brad confused. :|
